南海舞狮队 (formerly Lion Dance at UCSD)

Our club is based in San Diego County and formed at UCSD during Winter '08 by our co-founders Alex, Foster, and Stan.  Most of the current members have had previous experience in lion dancing, but that does not mean experience is required.  Although the club is currently relatively small, we're a non-profit organization with the goal of spreading the Asian culture through the art of Lion Dancing;  so if you're interested, join our mailing list in the form below, contact us by email or visit our Facebook Page.

Winter Quarter 2012 Practice Time/Location:  Currently Saturday and Sundays from 2-4pm at Gilman Parking Structure (map below)

Practice Location for Winter 2012

Winter Quarter 2012:

We will be practicing at the top floor of Gilman structure. If we are not at the top, you'll probably run into us a floor or two below. Gilman structure is highlighted as yellow on the map.



NOTE:  If you don't see us at practice or are unsure if it will be held on a certain Saturday morning, contact us via email.  We may have had a performance that day at that time, may have temporarily moved practice elsewhere, or may have canceled it.
